About Sakura

Sakura Matsumoto is a Vancouver B.C. based makeup artist who is a recent graduate of the Makeup Design for Film & Television Program from the world renowned Vancouver Film School.

Born and raised in Osaka Japan, Sakura moved to Canada in 2010 and became heavily interested in beauty and FX makeup when she attended her first IMATS at the age of 11.

Sakura prides herself on her skill and knowledge of many different types of makeup including, but not limited to, corrective, beauty, injury simulation, blood work, hair & wig styling, hair laying & ventilating, prosthetic creation and application, fantasy painting, bald caps, aging, and more.
